Monday nights are always steak night at home with my partner. One of my favorite sauces to put on the steak is a homemade Chimichurri sauce. I only make it once a month. The reason being is because I use my IceTopper Plus to freeze the remainder of the sauce into perfect cubes. All I need now is to thaw out a couple of cubes whenever we have steak night or if I want to use it as a salad dressing on eggs and potatoes in the morning, or even on grilled kebabs.


▢  3/4 cup coarsely chopped parsley

▢  10 tablespoons red wine vinegar

▢  2 large garlic cloves, minced

▢  2 tablespoons oregano leaves

▢  2 teaspoons crushed red pepper

▢  Kosher salt & freshly ground pepper

▢  1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil


In a food processor, combine the parsley, vinegar, garlic, oregano and crushed red pepper. Process until smooth; season with salt and pepper. Transfer the sauce to a bowl and pour the olive oil over the mixture. Let stand for at least 20 minutes.
